your not missing much Mik... so Sarah shall I contrast our Swiffer experience? I zip up to town to buy my much needed swiffer with a tip that the pharmacy may have one. I get up there realize that it is Monday and it is closed! Then head up Tuesday at lunch - closed again- I head there again (by now I have some prescriptions coming down by fax hopefully) on Friday AM and I can get the swiffer and the Rx at the same time. So I get to the pharmacy at 11:30 sounds like a good safe time and yes it is open however the Dr office is not open until 1:00pm on Friday and therefore my prescription hasn't made it yet! I do however find the swiffer and our great pharmacist whom I chat to about the weather and who is so helpful makes my whole day by finding me some interm stuff until my prescribed meds make their way down to the pharmacy. Once my allergies were so bad that I did have to get some meds from the Dr, my chat with him was like this "I need something to make me better because tonight I have to go dancing with Sarah!" and he sent me off to the great pharmacy and as I was getting the warnings etc read off to me, I noticed that these meds could cause drowsiness... and maybe I shouldn't have anything to drink if it my first time taking them. Oh dear and I am supposed to go out with my friend tonight What to do? Then the pharmacy tech says hey don't worry about it, go have fun and if you have any trouble we will all be at the dance as well if you need some help. You have got to love small towns.
Miss you so much Sarah, heading to the meadow tomorrow.

Are you serious? Automated tellers??? I would be just as blown away by it as you Sarah. For me the amazing thing is the number of eyes that would not be opened by walking in there and going on just like the inhabitants of that big space ship as if there were truly not anything inhuman or wrong about the whole thing.
It is this disconnect from the universal human consciousness that really gets me. It robs me of hope... so no it is not just you. I do all I can to avoid the place for many reasons.
As for the biodegradable garbage can...the "New Green" is a grand marketing ploy straight out of one the text book from our 1st year BA course.

I gotta stop now...

Dear gawd woman you are off the rock for 2 months and this is what happens to you ? Run , quick as you can home, just kidding, I do agree Walmart is another dimension, try going in with three kids in tow to get school supplies, really not a fun place to be.

What a great reminder of the joy that can be found in the simplest of things. We humans have a tendency to complicate things, but we often find when we take things back to the lowest common denominator this is when we are happiest. Merry Ho-ho Sarah...I miss you.
